SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers)

SAE organization founded in 1905, is the largest international academic organization of automotive engineering. Jufan cars, heavy trucks, construction vehicles, aircraft, engines, materials and manufacturing are all studied. SAE standards are enacted by the authority for a wide range of vehicles and spare parts for manufacturers, and considerable part of the national standards adopted by the United States.
SAE certification is non-mandatory authentication mechanism for the main motor vehicles (including motorcycles) technical standards, requiring all motor vehicles on the market and components of the standards. However, on the basis of federal law or standards is better than the other laws, so it gives priority FMVSS 108 over SAE standards in which must be installed in a motor vehicle lights, reflective devices and other products of the testing criteria. In addition, SAE is only responsible for the development of standards not for product certification, so any test laboratory has the ability to test product in accordance with SAE standards, test reports will be issued.
