AMECA history, its predecessor is the AAMVA (American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators), as a non-profit inter-state agencies, the United States and Canada of the motor vehicle regulations in the facilities in connection with the Administrator. AMECA doesn’t have the laboratory for itself, but to the vehicle safety product or device commissioned by AMECA recognized testing organization or laboratory test based on the implementation of regulatory requirements. If the product or device meets regulatory compliance requirements, it will be issued by the testing organization or laboratory and than test reports will sent to AMECA. After completing the verified report, AMECA product line will be issued certificate of (Notice of Equipment Compliance), and the product registered in the AMECA site open for inquiries.
AMECA valid certificate, issued by the consistency of products AMECA certificate (Notice of Equipment Compliance) is valid for three years. If the product or device within the sales in North America when the limitation period expired, it need to be re-run test for those who continue to sell on the market.
